Through a sound breeding program, CharterOak has established us as reputable, responsible breeders, producing puppies with great attitudes, structure & movement.
We participate in conformation shows, but many of our dogs have done well in obedience, agility, lure coursing, and as therapy dogs. We encourage people who buy our dogs and puppies to stay current with the breed through education, attending Afghan Hound specialty shows, puppy /adult fun matches, and all breed dog shows.
