At AKA's Doodles and Poodles of Illinois, we are excited about breeding Labradoodles and Goldendoodles because it incorporates the best of both worlds: the trainability of the Poodles and the lovable personalities of the Labs and Goldens. Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are extremely intelligent, vivacious, and highly devoted family members. Their loyalty, affection and non-aggressive temperament make them great family dogs - especially families with children. Their low to non-shedding coats minimize allergic reactions for most symptomatic people. We breed and raise all of our puppies in our home, with our children, making our puppies outgoing and well socialized. Our kennel name, AKA, stands for the first letter of each of our daughter's names - Amanda, Katie, and Abby. We have been hobby breeding dogs since 2002, and it has been very rewarding and successful. Our Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are in demand because they excel as family pets, working service dogs (wheelchair), many of our dogs have earned their CGC (Canine Good Citizenship), TDI (Therapy Dogs International) and are in elementary schools with the reading for Rover Program. We are referred by veterinarians and families of children that have Autism and Downs’s syndrome. Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are a great choice for those types of families. They are perfect for everyone! Our dogs are health tested for breed specific problems. Therefore making our Goldendoodles and Labradoodles clear of health issues and producing quality family pets.
