We have been showing and breeding healthy, well structured and good tempered Maltese for 40 years. We breed and show our own dogs in conformation events that are sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC). We breed to the written standard put out by our national parent club the American Maltese Association (AMA). Therefore we are constantly breeding to improve and better our dogs. However not every dog is a show dog or would benefit us in our showing and breeding programs. Those that we choose not to keep we want to go to loving, forever homes. Our puppies come with age appropriate shots, health care and are vet checked. For the sake of the puppy we do not let them go to a new home until they are at least 12 weeks old and 2 pounds.

We belong to the Scottish Terrier Club of America and the Terrier Club of Michigan. All documentation of the parents test results are provided with the puppies. While we do show our dogs, most of the puppies live in wonderful companion homes. Even though I am a small hobby breeder, I am Proud to be a Preservation Breeder and an AKC Breeder of Merit for Icelandic Sheepdogs. I have been a member of the Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America (ISAA) for 10 years. I have always participated in the ISAA approved breeder program by following all required health testing. I got my first Icelandic 9 1/2 years ago, Vinlands Leifur "Lee Lee". He became my first conformation show dog and my love. He was the first AKC Silver and Gold Grand Champion of the breed. He has been awarded a Select at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog show and an Award if Merit at the AKC National Dog Show. He also earned 33 group placements. Thanks to Lee, I am hooked on showing and breeding lovely, healthy, sweet dogs. Our puppies are hand raised in our home with love and lots of socialization. Our litters are of an average litter size of anywhere from 2-5 puppies. Our litters can very in color from black tri, brown tri, gold, red, cream and wolf sable (grey sable). We OFA hips, elbows and eyes. We have all clear eyes, normal elbows and good or excellent hips. We pray we keep it that way. Icelandics are a wonderfully sweet breed who love people and other animals. They do need lots of socialization to keep that wonderful temperament. We require at least one puppy obedience class and suggest you and your puppy work to warm a Canine Good Citizenship title with AKC. Just good fun and excellent bonding.
