Dog Breeders Near Fort Bragg California

I am an Amercian Coton Club, ACC Code of Ethics Breeder. I have 5 cotons, 2 males and 3 females. All four have passed all health tests required by the ACC to breed. All puppies come with a health and temperment guarantee and are registered with ACC.
By the time puppies are ready to go home, they have been started with crate training, sleeping in their own crates at night. They have had all necessary vet check-ups and are socialized daily with car rides and outings. They have lots of experience getting groomed and bathed, with nails trimmed weekly. They live with us in our home and are conditioned to all the sights, sounds and smells of family life.

We breed only for the purpose of producing show dogs with wonderful temperaments, who are well socializes, and have excellent health. In doing that we from time to time have very nice babies to place in approved homes. We have developed several Champions with some exciting wins! We enjoy every moment with our dogs. This is where “A Moment In Time” came from. Every moment is truly blessed when a Shih Tzu is near by.

Our goal is to honor this special breed by carefully planning each breeding. Occasionally puppies from these litters are available as pets and companions. We feel a great responsibility to every puppy, and take great care when placing the puppies in only the very best homes. Understanding we are in control of these fragile lives, and owe them the best chance we can to find them a happy and healthy life.

Our isolated ranch is surrounded by coyote, bobcat, raccoon, badger, fox and mountain lion. We needed a versatile, athletic and adaptable predator control system to protect birds to goats to us. We found the solution in the Anatolian Shepherd, an ancient breed from Turkey. These magnificent creatures have lived with their flocks under the most rigorous of conditions for thousands of years and are one of the oldest and most natural methods of predator control around. We also believe it possible, with selective breeding and rigorous selection, to produce dogs that are healthy, sound, well-tempered and adhere to the Standard of the Breed: Anatolians who look like Anatolians and can do the job they were bred to do.

Chekia Eskies and Shelties have been judiciously bred, lovingly raised, raw fed, homeopathically balanced, and holistically nurtured. We occasionally have puppies available to like minded families who appreciate the superior health and longevity afforded by our muti generational natural rearing. Our AKC Eskies & Shelties are home raised without crates or kennels, and used to being loved and cuddled from birth. They excel as companions, therapy dogs, and incredibly healthy, beautiful representatives of the American Eskimo and Shetland Sheepdog breeds. Our Eskies mature between toy and mini size. Our Shelties typically matue between 10 and 14 inches and 10 to 20 lbs.
