All of our cats and kittens are registered in TICA (The International Cat Assossiation). All of the cats and kittens that we raise are a part of our family. When the kittens are born, they live with their mother in one bedroom. They can only move to a new home once 2-3 months old. All appropriate vaccinations and the examination by vet are taken. The kittens are also de-wormed. We are proud of our little teddy-bear-like cats and will happily help you chose the right kitten for you.

Plaidpluscattery has been breeding the British Shorthair for ten years now and the cats just keep getting better and better. As a veterinarian with a feline practice, my cats get only the best care. My Cattery is based in Northern California near Chico, Ca. I am a very small home based Cattery. I started the cattery after I retired, I just wanted to Show a Cat as a pass time and have the love and companionship of a beautiful cat. The British Shorthair has always been a favorite of mine since I was a child. So in my search for a show cat I came across the Silver Shaded and Chinchilla British Shorthairs and ended up with a breeding pair. I now have 3 females and a gorgeous loving male. They all are my little babies that I show and the kittens are just an added bonus. They are well cared for and registered with TICA. Kittens are taken several times to the vet to get shots and check how they are doing. You will receive a very fun loving bundle of joy that will bring you years of enjoyment.
