Ten Oaks Kennel
Ten Oaks Kennel is a small, family operated kennel located in Vinemont, Alabama. We are about half way between Birmingham and Huntsville, with easy access from I65.
We only have a few litters each year of some of the finest German Shorthair Pointers you can find. Our dogs are "bird dogs/companion dogs" and see a lot of field time during the season.
Our pups are usually ready to go to their new homes between the 6th and 7th week, sometimes earlier depending on how well they are eating. Tails will be docked, dew claws removed, and wormed every 2 weeks. Pups will be current on their first set of shots before they leave the kennel.
Male pups are $500.00 and females are $600.00, and a $100.00 non-refundable deposit will reserve your pup. Pups will be picked in the order deposits are received. Should we have more deposits than pups, your deposit will be applied toward the next available litter.
With 4 granddaughters, I assure you our pups are well socialized and have had exposure to many different opportunities. Pups will have been exposed to loud noises and a bunch of handling.
If you are looking for a GSP of high quality and great color, give us a try. Please contact us at our direct e-mail as we receive these more timely than from this site.
Copperhead Kennels is a small kennel in the heart of bird country. We are 45 minutes south west of Lincoln, NE. We have all german shorthair pointers that vary in color from liver/white, solid liver, liver/white ticked, solid black, black/white roan and black/white. We breed high quailty bird dogs that hunt and also make great family pets. Our kennel has 1 to 2 litters a year. All of our dogs are used to guide hunts in Nebraska and Kansas, as our own personal hunting dogs, and are proven hunters. Hunt testing is a way to keep us active with the dogs for more than the "hunting season." We now are running dogs in NSTRA as well.
Otter Creek Kennel is located just off I-380 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Just minutes from Pheasant Hunting country, our goal has always been to raise superior pointing dogs coupled with the ability to track the game after it hits the ground. Since we also duck hunt here, we needed a versatile dog that could retrieve in the water as well as in the field. Marking is a very important trait that we strive to look for when we plan breedings. We also want non- aggressive behavior dogs, but then one with plenty of prey drive. Train-ability, intelligence, and the most important trait, a great pet in the house. We encourage all buyers of our puppies to raise the dogs in the home, along with the family. We know for a fact that you end up with a better dog! Raised in the kennel, they compete for your affection. Raised in the home, they know they have it. We test in NAVHDA, where we have received 2 breeder awards. We also have our lst ever Versatile Champion, just this past year! We also test in NADKC, which is the German equivalent of NAVHDA. We average 2 litters per year. We feed Pro Plan Performance. We have two different lineage lines that we pursue at Otter Creek. One is an older Wildburg line that we have perpetuated since 1995. The other is full German, using KS Orson vom Pottsiepen, KS Kristan vom Pottsiepen, and KS Graf vom Vehner Moor, which all tye back to the Hege-Haus & Wasserschling lines. We have all colors in the GSP pallet; Solid Liver, Solid Black, Liver Roan, Black Roan, Liver Patched Ticked, & Black Patched Ticked. We do not advise buying a puppy based on color. We would rather take your needs and match you up with the right puppy. Deposits are required. Prices range from $800 to $1500. A Puppy Purchase Agreement must be signed by you and we offer a Lifetime Guarantee on our dogs, with very few stipulations. Thanks for considering us. Have a great day! (Our website is under construction)

The Deer Creek Kennels is located in the Town of Oak Grove and West Carroll Parish in the Northeast corner of Louisiana. This is where Deer Creek heads up and slowly meanders to the southwest. This family-owned and operated farm has been located here since the early 1900's..
My knowledge base for the care and needs of champion bloodlines also grew. This has played an important part of the success of our family business! Whether you long to invest in a competitor or a family pet, the care, compassion and love at The Deer Creek Kennels are the same, matched only by a few.
These dogs are great companions as well as family dogs. Our puppies are socialized early on. They love people!
Our dogs have great bloodlines, several linking back to Champions like, Crosswind Truckin' Fritz and Rawhide's Clown.
Currently we have seven females that only have one litter per year each.. We genuinely care about our dogs and do not want to abuse them. They produce some beautiful puppies. The colors of our females vary from solid liver to heavy liver roan, to liver and white ticked to black roan. Our males are heavy liver roan, white and liver ticked, and light liver roan.
Our main objective, here at Cady Falls German Shorthair Pointers, is to breed healthy, happy and productive dogs! We accomplish this by focusing on preserving the integrity of this magnificent "pointing breed" hunting dog! We find that following a strict Breeding protocol, whereby testing the Sire and Dam for Health Clearances prior to mating, we are better able to produce a pup that is free of genetic defects. We also focus on type and function and as such, the probability is high that the pups will have good conformation, will be easy to train and will have inherent, natural ability in the field. These pups will be devoted family companions, ones that are happy to curl up at your feet in the evening while still being ready for an early morning upland bird hunt at a moment's notice!
The versatility of the German Shorthair Pointer is evident, they are very people oriented and easily become part of the family. They will play catch with you in the back yard and then explode with energy in the field as they scent, point and gently retrieve a downed game bird to your hand! And, to complete the story of this versatile breed, the German Shorthair Pointer will also shine in the show ring too!
