Born with a desire to please they are intelligent, affectionate, and a great housedog. Unlike some bird dogs, they will not be happy living in an outdoor kennel. This breed considers themselves a part of the family. Yet they will please the most avid hunter, whether he hunts upland game or duck. Our vizslas are amazing hunters. Sophie will even herd up our pack goats when called to the chore. At the same time, they will find great acceptance as companion and family dog.
