Tim Thimsen, CBC, CPDT is a full time trainer and behavior counselor. He has been referred by both clients and area veterinarians for over seven years. Tim is a graduate of the Animal Behavioral Center of New York (www.abcny.com), where he was awarded his certification as a Canine Behavior Counselor (www.animalbehaviorcounselors.org). Tim's studies concentrate on the diagnosis and treatment of inappropriate canine behaviors, as well as obedience training. He has also earned recognition as a Certified Pet Dog Trainer by the nation’s best known training organization, the Association of Pet Dog trainers (www.apdt.com). His association with the Animal Behavior College (www.animalbehaviorcollege.com) allows Tim to tutor novice trainers to become professionals. Tim’s position as Training Director and Staff Behaviorist at Canine Kindergarten, Inc. (www.caninekindergarten.com) has given him the opportunity to gain expertise in the area of pack dynamics and dog to dog interaction. Tim’s studies and experience combined with his love of animals and gift for canine and human communication have allowed him to practice his dream career. He is committed to assisting people to better understand and enjoy living with man's best friend.
